COPD Activity: SERT, Cytokine, And Depression Study

The purpose of the CASCADE study is to look at how genes and levels of certain inflammatory chemicals are related to depression in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

We are also looking at how the genes, chemicals, and depression are related to your symptoms, quality of life, and functioning.

You do not need to have depression to be eligible for the study.

If you are interested in learning more about the study please contact us. One of our staff will be in touch with you within one to two days.

The COPD Activity: SERT, Cytokine, And Depression Study (CASCADE) is being conducted by researchers at the University of Washington and Department of Veteran’s Affairs.
